That's one way to launch a singing career! Penelope Cruz writhes around in a black lacy basque for her new music video clip

She has already lent her vocal cords in two of her films, Volver and Nine.
And it seems it has inspired Penelope Cruz to break out as a singer.
The 38-year-old actress has added a new string to her bow by appearing and singing in a Spanish music video titled, Decirnos Adiós (Saying Goodbye).

The song was composed by her brother Eduardo Cruz, and the actress duets with Latin Grammy-winning Spanish and Italian musician, Miguel Bosé.
In the clip, the pair are seen arriving at a hotel where they enter separate rooms.
Penelope, who is married to fellow Spanish actor Jarvier Bardem, is then seen slipping into some sexy lingerie, displaying her famous curves in a black lacy basque.

In the dramatic clip, she also sips seductively on a glass of wine and ponders whether to make a telephone call to her onscreen love interest, Bosé.
While she is launching her new career as a singer, Penelope's acting career is going full steam ahead.
She is currently starring in Twice Born, the heartbreaking story of a woman who relies on a surrogate after discovering she can't have children.

In the international trailer for the film, Penelope is seen attempting to get her baby son to breastfeed, despite her not having given birth to the child.
Speaking recently about the film, which also stars Emile Hirsch, Penelope called the project 'an homage to motherhood'.
And talking about the breastfeeding scene, Penelope told The Guardian: 'Some of these babies were only a week old.

'And so they were smelling me and that made them want to eat. But I was playing a woman who couldn't feed because she hadn't given birth!
'That created a very strange but alive dynamic between me and those babies. You cannot learn something like that. And this film is full of moments that could not be planned.'
The film, based on the book by Margaret Mazzantini, tells the story of a single mother who takes her teenage son back to Sarajevo, where his father died in the Bosnian conflict years ago.
