Tiny dancer! Amy Adams carries a ballet tote as she takes her daughter Aviana to class

She once dreamed of becoming a professional ballerina.

And Amy Adams, who found she was better suited for acting, has clearly passed on her passion for pointe work to her two-year-old daughter Aviana.

The 38-year-old actress, holding a pink 'ballet' tote, was seen taking her lil' prima ballerina to class in Los Angeles Wednesday.

The three-time Golden Globe winner went fuss-free in a red plaid shirt topped with a dotted scarf, skinny blue jeans, and brown heeled boots.

With her blonde hair in pigtails, adorable Aviana covered her traditional pink leotard with a cosy white hoodie and wore tiny purple Uggs.

Not seen Wednesday was Aviana's father and Amy's longtime fiancé, actor and artist Darren Le Gallo.

The Fighter star met Darren in an acting class back in 2001, and they'll appear together in the drama Lullaby due out later this year.

Amy just scored her fourth Oscar nomination for playing Philip Seymour Hoffman's commanding wife in The Master.

However, Aviana is hardly aware of the Hollywood awards season hurricane her famous mother is currently involved in.

'You wake up and she's not that impressed. [My daughter] likes the dresses, but aside from that?' Adams told USA Today.
'I'm excited [about the nomination]. It's a little crazy and wonderful. I did not expect it in any way, shape or form. It's one of those nice surprises.'

She added, 'I'm pretty content in life right now. That's part of it. It's not that I'm not excited. I just recognize that my priorities are in order.'

The busy actress has several other films due out this year, including the Spike Jonze comedy Her and the biopic Janis Joplin: Get It While You Can.
