The missing housemate! After weeks of speculation Lindsay Lohan DOESN'T enter CBB house... so why is she in London?

As the Celebrity Big Brother contestants entered the house, there was one famous face missing from the line-up.

Lindsay Lohan jetted into London just a few days ago, sparking rumours about her entering the reality show, but it looked like the promise of a pay cheque from elsewhere was the reason for her arrival into the UK.

The actress was allegedly paid $100,000 by a Southeast Asian Prince to attend his annual New Year's Eve party in London.

A notorious party girl, it was only a matter of time before Lindsay actually found a way to get paid for her favourite pastime.

But it didn't just stop at a cheque.

According to the New York Daily News newspaper: "Prince Azim not only flew her out; he put her up in a beautiful suite in the Dorchester for the weekend and following the party. Her mom, Dina, is also in London with her at the hotel and attended the party."

The flush of money will be a relief to the Liz & Dick actress who is struggling to pay her taxes and has reportedly been kicked out of her $8,000-a-month mansion.

And apparently Lindsay wasn't the only celeb to accept a paid invitation.

Lionel Richie was allegedly paid $250,000 by the Brunei heir to the throne to perform and Dancing On Ice star Pamela Anderson $75,000.

But it seems Lindsay may have used some of the dosh to clean up her look for the start of 2013.
The 26-year-old glowed as she dined out in Knightsbridge accompanied by her ex-boyfriend, fitness instructor Josh Chunn.
Lindsay was recently rumoured to be dating The Wanted's Max George after she was spotted at a number of the band's gigs in the U.S.

However Josh's appearance suggested the two may have reignited their former romance, leaving the Nozomi restaurant together.
Carrying her clutch bag, she waved at fans as she walked into the venue ready for an evening of fine dining.
She has since been spotted on several nights out as she continues to take in the party scene in London.
But as Christmas and New Year's becomes ever more distant, Lindsay's extended stay in the capital becomes far more curious.
